Carefree is a 55 and over gated community, professionally managed and belonging equally to all 500 members.   Situated on beautiful Lake Bess, we each own our manufactured home and all land and park facilities.  This includes our nine hole executive golf course with a spacious Golf Center offering a great place for camaraderie.   Our clubhouse hosts a ballroom, kitchen, library lounge, billiard room, exercise room and laundry.   We have a large heated swimming pool with whirlpool, two lighted tennis courts, and six shuffleboard courts, six bocce ball courts and horseshoe pits.  Other activities include dances, dinners, computer club and bicycle club, card playing, a variety of arts and crafts, Christian Chapel Service and other cultural events.  Make a new circle of warm, supportive friends, filling your retirement years with an active, healthy lifestyle and many new interests. We invite you to join us and become our new friends and neighbors
